Hello all,
First, just to be honest: I am not a member of any Orthodox Church. I am RC, and I've just registered on this site to get an answer to a question about Orthodox Christianity. (I tried getting the answer elsewhere, to no avail.) The registration page forced me to pick the Orthodox Church I belong to, so I just picked the top one, Constantinople.
My question is as follows:
I recently watched a video where someone explained that as far as scripture is concerned, the Orthodox view Christianity primarily through the “lens” of (1) the Gospel of John, (2) the epistles of John, and (3) the Church Fathers, especially St. John Chrysostom. The implication seemed to be that the other gospels, Acts, and the other epistles are, in the Orthodox view, of somewhat lesser stature than the aforementioned three sources.
As Orthodox Christians, would you say that this is correct?
Thank you.

I did not have this question in my mind, but now that you've asked, I would also like to know the answer to this question. My question is as follows:
