Hi, I returned back to church in February. I think I remember how to behave there but I miss some clues. This spring 3 guys (all three separately and on different occasions) came to stand by my side, on my left, facing the altar, while I was queueing for holy communion or cross veneration, and seemed to be immersed in some silent prayer while I felt I was part of it. Am I imagining things? They have been stealing glances at me now and then before that and seemed distant and avoidant after. Am I missing something? I'm clueless. I have a feeling that it was some etiquette breach on my part. I don't know them and I don't know their names but they seem very devout Orthodox to me. Did I do something wrong?
